Drought is over - chased the skunks away

Took my new rod out yesterday afternoon to try it out. Was a 100 deg. so didn't expect much. On the fourth cast caught a small one, probably about a pound or so that threw the hook when I got him close to the bank.

Two casts later, I reeled this one in.
