Dinkmasters held the Bark Camp Brawl & Ice Cream Social yesterday on Bark Camp Lake , located in northern Scott Co. VA.

Rules of the competition were simple.  Best 5 fish per boat, no fish 11-14" allowed.  Everyone threw in $10 and away we went.

Blast off was quite fun considering the lake is electric-only.  I bet the campers at the campground loved my air horn at 6AM.   ;D

We fished 6AM-10:30AM, weighed in, then cooked some burgers and dogs.

The winners were TheBeast and 1inStripes with a whopping 4 fish sack of 1.13 lbs.  Peasey and Grandpa came in second with something around 1.08 lbs.

The food was great.  Thanks to Peasey's mom for a great cheesecake and his grandmother for some stunning pea salad.

Can't wait till the next one!

I don't think those even qualify as bass  ;D

Thats was a five sack we brought in thank you very much.  Just because my two were fry doesn't make them any less of a bass.  

i dont even see how its possible to catch bass that small!

That would have been Mike and I.  And had we weighed it, we would have won.

Probably would have. Ive seen minnow traps that looked better than our total bags ;D

I'm kinda surprised you didnt blur out the backgrounds of some of those pics, wouldnt want anyone to find your honey holes  

That whole lake is a honey hole so blurring is pointless.

Jimzee, we are wanting to have another and would be great to do it when your down.

And as weighmaster all fish were released alive and swam away to fight another day, or be lunch for for the few big fish I ahve seen in the lake, whichever comes first.   ;D
