so tonight at 7 i walked bout a mile to a pond behind my nieghbor hood to try out some new stuff i got from ***  now usually i fish with hardbaits..im not to good with plastics bc i dnt use them much..wel tonight i set out with 1 rod and a some alurring  taper tail worms i think there called and i fished them on a hookerhear shakey and i caught the biggest about a 1.5 -2 pounder  and 3 other keepers not much over 12in  but either way i gained alot of confidence in bout a hour and a half

Consider using attractant on your plastics.  JJ's Magic and Megastrike are excellent.

I took the other road, always used plastics. Good and bad! Catch fish with plastics but don't have lot of experience with hard baits. Glad you're building confidence with the plastics ...
