Next weekend My friend and i are heading down to lake wappepelo in southern missouri.(wappepelo is probably spelled wrong but bear with me) Just wondering if any body has any suggestions on Tackle or locations for this lake, Never fished it before.

I was there last weekend....not much luck. They are catching them up in the river above Chanoi landing (sp?) Look for deeper water, Wappapelo is a deceiving lake....you will get into an area that looks awesome and find out that you are stirring mud up when you hit the trolling motor...very shallow lake.

Go to Conservationcafe.com, they have several tournament results from weeks past and what they are catching them on....should provide you with a good starting point.
