I have been fishing the upper Hudson river for about 25 years now. Spring is ok-summer ok (Chestnut frog fishing) but this time of year can truely be amazing. There are 3 major creeks  all about 10 miles  apart where the bass winter every year. The water is in the 40's/ I am going to try the new skakE2 there and see what happens. I hope that I will have pics for ya on Monday. They like the smaller finesse baits now. There are a mixture of smallies and largemouth there. Cant wait- I'll keep ya posted
