Josh and I went out this morning for a little while in Lake Gibson slinging some cane toads.  We had 2 takers with this one the biggest at 2.5 lbs.

I started fishing with frogs this year and let me tell you it is some of the most fun you can possibly have!!!

i wondered if theyd start making their way up... did you get a water temp.  should be down as low as low 80's now im thinking.

Vince - water temp was down in the low 80s.  No strikes in the K grass though.  Josh got his ripping the frog over submerged hydrilla patches and I got mine out of scattered pads.

Nitro - If the topwater bite in not on, I may not go fishing

Frog fishing is one of the best forms of fishing imo. There is nothing better then seeing the fish come up and explode on them.

This is my first year of frog fishing and I am loving it!!

That is one nice looking bass.  I just started frog/toad fishing this year and I think it is the most fun you can have fishing.
