Today was by far the best day of the year for me. I went out with my dad and grandpa to a local lake. The first 3 hours of the day it did nothing but rain , but to make it all worth while the fish were going crazy. In those 3 hours that it rained we boated over 40 combined fish.  

All of my fish came on a red eye shad in 6 fow barely ticking the tops of weeds. It was my first time out with the red eye and needless to say I am very impressed. I also caught a few walleyes that I am going to have for dinner tomorrow night.

After the rain stopped the fished slowed down a lot only getting a couple fish per hour. all in all it turned out to be the best day on the water this year.

Congrats to you. I LOVE fishin in the rain. It is one of most favorite times to fish. I always seem to do well when it's raining.  ;D
