First trip of the year

Featured Replies

The weather has been decent enough lately that we at least are done with the ice. I decided to head out and see if I could catch any, even though it was pretty cold and windy.

The wind was a lot worse than I thought it would be, and so I had a lot of trouble detecting a bite on the jig. I only got two bites that I know of, but by the time I noticed it, it was too late to get a hook in.

Better luck next time I hope.  :-/ I don't know about you, but I can't wait for spring to get here!
