I have had my eye on these big 6" grubs for awhile in the bluegill color. Have any of you guys tried them for big green bass?

They are great baits for fishing over slop.

I actually use them quite often as trailers on a buzzbait or a spinnerbait I like the action better than traditional split tail trailers and such.

The only time i use grubs for freshwater is when they are being used as a trailer for spinnerbaits.

Exactly.  Rig it weightless and fish it like a buzzbait.
