First Time and the water isn't even 40 yet

Featured Replies

i went out today and caught my first bass of the season. i was throwing a silver and green jerkbait with a bit of purple when i got a bit of a birds nest. When i retrieved the bait i reeled it in fast because it wasn't very far out. I had a follower, so i threw the jerkbait out a few more times. Nothing. made the adjustment to a lipless crankbait. Silver and black and caught my first three bass of the season. Not bad for a chilly march day. Made up for the other day when i went out with my buddy and he got the first bass of the season.  :o
