Got a new Minn Kota Endurea 50# TM, a new deck on back, new rod holders, new glasses, new plastics, and am looking forward to a full day on Lake Wylie to test out the new tips y'all gave me since my last trip out.

Anyone else planning for a day on the water tomorrow? What lake you hitting? Love to hear about it.

I just spent 2 hours organizing and tying on. I'm at greers ferry for the week. I tied on a shadtruese jerkbait, XR50 craw color, Carolina rig, drop shot, PB&J Eakins with paca chunk,fat ika and a crankbait.

I can't wait for the morning!

Me! Me! Me!  I got all of my stuff set up and I'm ready to get back on the water after being off for five months.  Fish on!

So I got out, all the new gear worked well. A local bass club had a surprise tourney and those people were an inconsiderate bunch of wahoos.

Wierdest thing. Only grabbed a single small bass on 4 ft of water. All the other fish I got were 6+ lb catfish. They hit everything, crankbaits, plastics, live bait, everything. I did not think they would be out this early.

Anyway, even a bad day fishing beats a good day at work and the catfish bit was actually pretty fun. Those things gave a great fight.
