The ol Beast and myself tried going fishing yesterday. My first trip really trying to fish this year. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to cooperate. We hadnt much more got on the water until we saw lightning close. We got out of the water and gave it a try again. After maybe 15 minutes of fishing in a downpour we had to call it a day due to lightning. I was able to get my first LMB of the year. Typical size of what you have saw Burley post in recent days. Caught it on a 1/4 oz War Eagle spinnerbait white/chartreuse.

Had a great time, and hope to get a little more time in on the water soon.
