Wearing out the little guys, but....

Featured Replies

Here's the situation...

Water temp is 85 degrees, around 6:30 in the evening, fishing an Alabama reservoir. I've found a not so secret hump right near the river channel that I was able to absolutely wear out some 8-10 inchers on a Pop-R.  Caught 8 in 10 casts. I spent a little bit of time trying to fish a texas rigged worm fairly slow to try to pick up a big girl...no luck...do you think there are any big girls there? Am I wasting my time trying to find these in this particular spot? Do you think I just hit a school of babies? All help is appreciated!
