Trotlining

Featured Replies

I went trotlining yesterday in the Oklahoma Mountain Fork and bass fished the biggest part of the time.  Caught four keeper smallies, a keeper bucketmouth, and countless dinks.  All but one smallmouth, the MASSIVE one, were caught on a White Pearl Zoom Super Fluke rigged weightless, jerk-swimmed.  The biggest was caught on a smoke colored Storm Rattle Tube, Texas-Rigged.  Probably would have weighed 4 pounds, great for the place I was fishing.  My personal best!  ;D

Sounds like you had fun with your rod and reel, hope the trotline had some cats on it too.

It did.  Caught four in the 5 pound range.  Got just about enough for a fish fry now.
