Went out fishing with a friend tonight, only fished about an hour. Wasn't to bad I got 3 LM, all in the 1.5-2# area. He got a 1.5# and a baby, probabably about 7" and he had a northern on the line was about 25-30" on his first cast. Tossed his spinner at the boat. I attached some pics of the area we fished today. We also saw a guy catch a big ol toad on a frog lure as we were heading back to the launch. Was rather funny.

We were fishing about 10 FOW and the grass was almost on the surface. All my hits came from either ripping a spinner through the big patches or when I bounced a jig up out of the thick stuff.

One of the 1.5# ers I caught (and the last, shortly before we headed back):

Nothing to shake a stick at but not bad action for an hours play, would have stayed out longer but the weather was coming in hard by the end it was starting to lightning, we didn't want to get stuck out.

Awesome man! That looks just like the pond i fished tonight! Except i got skunked!!!

It was actually an inlet right next to where the yahara river flowage connects with lake Waubesa.  Not a bad area, was a great current running through there.  Unfortunately we dont get much surface slop, the slop in the pictures is the thickest stuff Ive seen out here.

looks like some nice fishing, great job.

Dinks beat skunks all day.  The grass in pic 3 looks inviting.
