went out today for a couple hours. hit up yates mill since its pretty nice there. not too many people , and the park is beautiful. with in the first 10 casts i pulled up these two beasts on a small rattlin rapala -

they surprisingly did put up a good fight on the UL rig. not too sure why some people remove the front hook , but i never do for obvious reasons. for the remaining time i was there , i didnt get anymore bites but i decided to stay out there since it was so nice out.

all in all , i had a good time. first two fish in the last 4 times i went out.   :D

i would assume people take off the front hooks to prevent hang ups. solid fish.
