September 4th

Fished with Dr tred today and had a great time. Dr. Tred is a real nice guy and I had alot of fun fishing with him. The day was super hot and calm for the most part but the fish finally started biting. Dr caught quite a few nice fish with a 7lb 5oz,6lb 5oz, and a 5lb even being the big ones. The Dr. called it a day around 3:00 p.m. so I headed backout to finish the day. I'm glad I did because the bite was on. I ended the day with 14 fish. The big ones weighed in at 7.4,7.1,6.3,6.8,and a 6lb even. Great ending to a great day.

Sept 5th,

Today was a late start for me. I left the ramp at 11:45 a.m. and went straight to the farm to hit the ditches. Once again scorching hot and barely a breeze but the fish didn't seem to care. I started with the crankbait and in 10 minutes nailed 5lb 4oz chunk. I didn't move the boat 10 feet and a nice 5lb 8oz swallowed the cranker. The fish seemed to be stacked in a 30 yard stretch of the ditch. The next hour that area produced a 5lb,6lb 1oz,4lb 12oz,4lb 8oz,4lb 5oz,and a sweet 9lb 1oz hog. The storms started brewing up around 4:00 p.m. so it was time to go back to the ramp and sit out the lightning. The 4 hours I was out though I caught 16 fish total. Around 5:00 my buddy Kenny called and said he was coming out to the marsh to meet me. The rain never stopped, but Kenny had the itch to fish real bad so we went back out for the last hour and a half and fished through the rain. Unfortunately Kenny didn,t catch any but I landed a chunky 5lb 9oz taker and one around 2 lbs. Total of 18 fish in 5 hours. Larry Hauser

wow what a great two days!!!  I'm jealous!

WOW - STICKMARSH gives up some nice bass.I hope i get to fish it one day.

Good grief!!  Oh what I would do to be able to fish somewhere like that everyday...

I have a trip scheduled there next month, CAN'T WAIT!!!  Great fish too!

Real nice fish, great day fishin. Good job. I hope one day to make it back to stick marsh, since our trip got cut unexpectally short.
