First trip of the year.

Featured Replies

Got out for the first time this year today. Temps have been in the 60's for the past three days, weather man said rain but it was pretty nice out.  All I took were yum dingers and wooly bugs.  Fished for about an hour on base and caught three.  Nothing of any size but it was fun none the less.

What really suprised me though was 2 younger guys and a young lady showed up about 30 min into it and one of the guys caught a 6 # off a zara spook. I would never have thought to throw a top water with the water temps still in the high 40's low 50's.  I hope the weather stays like this for a few more days so I can catch a few more.
