Question on Crank Bait Box

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has used the large Bass Pro Double Sided Tangle Free Box's to store deep diving cranks in? Do they fit in there good? That is my main concern is there any trouble putting DD22's in or 3/4 Bomber's in there?

They work but mainly for large crankbaits.  I use mine for my trick worms and finesse worms.

I bought two of them last spring. You can put 5 or 6 normal sized cranks in each row. Put the box in your tackle bag, put the bag in the truck, drive around, put the bag in your boat, motor around a bit, open the box, pick up a crank, and get a string of 5 or 6 baits all connected together.

If they came with some sort of dividers, they'd be very nice.

Affirmative!!!

With the dividing not tangle tackleboxes you have a tradeoff. You get more baits in a classic 3700 but you have to deal with tangles. I like the falcon spinnerbait and worm and hook boxes. I like seeing my spinnerbaits lined up where I can see each blade quick. I also use a BPS jerkbait box. You dont need that many jerkbaits and the tangles are a nightmare. Everything else I use a 3700. I would rather have double the baits and deal with a few tangles myself.
