Hit a local lake yesterday with Matt. On the water by 8am and off by 5pm. Air temp about 45 with water temp around 41. Light cold wind with clouds and some hail throughout the day. Not the biggest of fish but still great to finally be on the water and decent numbers for for March 12th. Best 5 fish went about 13lbs and the biggest fish of the day around 3lbs. Matt got 6LM on a few different pattern jerkbaits ::) I just hate jekbaits! ;D and I got 3 on a 1/2oz black blue Mop jig w/a crazy legs chigger as a trailer. Around 1pm a cold front moved in and the bite dissapeared.
