Caught a few fish in my new boat.

Featured Replies

THe last couple days have been slow.  The condition are perfect for a big fish bite, but I think it warmed up so fast(15* in a week) that the fish haven't adjusted.  I caught 3 dinks yesterday and today was looking dismall as well.  I decided to try 1 more spot before leaving.  I pulled up to an island in the middle of a shallow lake and my 3rd pitch got me a 4.5-5lb fish.  After a few quick pics and some hooting and hollering I let her go and made a pitch to the next tree and nabbed another 5lb fish.   :dance01: only 2 bites of the day, but they were worth it.  This boat scoots to.  I hit 68.5 with 2 guys and full tourney load.  I ran out of calm water, but I think it had more.
