This Morning....

Featured Replies

I was throwing one of the swimbaits that I bought from Bronzefly.

with less that 10 casts under my belt, I hook somthing big. I am not worried cause Im loaded for bear heavy rod 50 pound braid. When it shows its self Its 40 plus inch Musky. When the musky sees the boat, he shifts into four wheel low and thats when my braid let go.....:(

I dont think it was a bad knot, maybe nicked up line from my last outing with the swimbait. anyway if anyone catches a big musky with a swimbait in its mouth at moraine let me know :)

Up here in Musky country I know from experience that no matter what lb braid you have you need to have some type of liter on. My muskie setup has 50 lb power pro with a steel liter. So don't feel about just prepare next time and get him again!
