Took the day off from work last Thursday and hit up a small local lake. Since it was close to my birthday I figured it owed us a good one (worth a shot anyway). Well never underestimate the power of a good ole 10 1/2 in. worm. The larger bass my father is holding I actually hooked and lost earlier. He threw back into that same pocket an hour later and had to hold on for dear life! Anyway, thought I would share.

Thanks Mike. It was a good day indeed. We rarely ever catch a good one each on the same trip. Weekday fishing is the deal it seems!
