I am planing to move to the Saugatuck area in the Spring. It's going to be a new ball game. 95% of my fishing has been South of the Ohio River. Looking forward to catching some of your Northern fish.

Nothing like a Great Lakes Smallie! Hopefully I can hook a 5 pounder this summer, been really close.

You'll love it, I've never fished the western part of Michigan, but I'm sure it's not much different then the eastern part. The south has got us on the largemouth, but up here a 3 pound smallie fights better than a 8 pound largemouth any day.

And the Muskie, just do some searching on the web and you'll see how big they get. I always say I want to move to a warmer climate, but after I think about how good I got it with fishing, I don't think I'll ever move.

I just hope the Asian carp doesn't affect our native species.
