Weedless Hudds

Featured Replies

Anybody else taken a look at the video of the weedless hudds yet? Pretty interesting concept. I know one lake that the weedless factor could do good on here in TN. Bizz, Branuss, Matt and anybody else, what's yall's thoughts on these?

i like the idea as long as the hook comes out easy enough and there isnt to much plastic to interfere with the hook

Well as soon as I saw this bait, Lake "X" came to mind.  This lake makes fishing the bottom and anything with exposed hooks nearly impossible.  It has hydrilla coming up to the top 5 feet in most spots along the bank.  This will be a true test for the "Weedless Hudd". I think it's a great idea and I've never been disappointed with anything that Ken has come out with.  I do really like more of the "Hidden" line tie. I think a lot of people will benefit from the weedless design.  You should be able to really get in the "Muck" with it more so than the original Hudd, especially rocks, trees, etc. I'm not very excited for the 6in version, but I will pick one up.  I'm very excited for the 8in though, I hope they come out with that pretty quick.

I am anxious to see how the hook ups are.  Obviously it's just like if you were to texas rig a worm, but in this case, the worm won't slide up the line.  Can't wait to see a good review on this bait.
