This year every Saturday we can watch bass fishing from 7:00 to 11:30 on ESPN2! ;D Support this new program by watching it.  I want it to be a sucsess, so maybe some non- fishermen can realize how much of a sport fishing really is. ;D

Just got done watching the first episode of Bass Saturday. It was great, the only fishing channels I get are espn and espn2 which won't usualy have to many bass fishing shows. Hopefully the show will continue a long time!

The shows on ESPN were good. I didn't really care for the hosts that much. Mark Zona did a decent job though.

Glad you liked Zona.  He's a really good guy with a very sharp wit as well as an excellent angler.  I got to know him on the Everstart tour where he was very dominating in 02 and 03.

I liked it for the most part. I could do without Byron Velvick thou. Mark is a cool guy he used to sell boats out at OffShore and then at West Lakes. He was the man on the clear lakes around here for a few years.

I watched it this morning.  I liked it quite a bit.  I really liked Schooled by Denny Brauer, I have never seen it before.  Basscenter was good.  They talked about a couple of things that was new to me like that snakehead thing or whatever that was, never heard of that.  Like skipper I could also do without Byron Velvick.  All in all it was pretty good though.  

Was'nt able to watch the 1st Bass Saturday because was busy taking 2nd place in a local tourny, but i plan to watch every saturday, been hoping for such a format. I'll let you know. riden

I recorded it on video because i am on the west coast and everyting here is at like 4:00am or something like that so i got up and put the video tape in and pressed record and wen back to sleep and when i woke up i watched it and it was awesome i also liked schooled by Denny and Bassmaster university

I didn't get to catch the inaugural weekend, as I'm currently deployed to the middle east.  But I bought my dad (also a ***atic) a new dvd/vcr combo for Christmas and some blank tapes and begged him to record it for me.  Unfortunately, he didn't get around to hooking it up or recording it.  AAGGGHH!  There is a happy ending though.  My girlfriend recorded it for me, without me even asking her.  I think she is a keeper.  I may not even need to try to cull her!  LOL

Love Them, but I'm afraid when it gets warm out I'll be fishing....Does anyone have tivo and how much does it cost you?
