Secondary Point

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a point and a secondary point?  Also how would you recognize them on a map?

:) A secondary point is a point (usually smaller than main lake points) which gradually goes out getting deeper and deeper the farther it goes it sortve looks like this on the maps:   >>>>>  each contour line is like that  going around the point with each one deeper than the other but a flatter point than that.

Also a secondary point is normally in a feeder creek instead of on the main lake.
