Is there anyway i can modify a crankbait for the better......?  PLease answer! ;D

Change the hooks to red hooks that are a good brand then use pliers and bend the rond piece of metal that comes out of the bait that you tie you knot on bend it little by little until it runs true if it didnt already.

You can add some suspend strips or tacky weight to the bait to make the bait suspend, sink, or slow down how fast it floats to the surface.

Sharpen the lip so that it wil run deeper. Just be careful not to take off too much as it will become to brittle.
