Stained/high water ???

Featured Replies

We have recently been getting a lot of rain and it has stained and risen the water levels as well as turned off a decent bite. how should i go about altering my presentations. I fish a lot of freshwater lagoons around my area and the water is generally murky but it currently looks like Ovaltine :)

I had previously been doing well texas rigging 6" roboworms(margarita mutilater) and slow rolling blades and rattletraps, not so much anymore. >:(

Suggestions?

thanks

black colo bladed spinnerbait or buzzbait or maybe a jig or crankbait if you can crash it into something.

Like Chris said try using some darker colors in the dirty water. It also helps to use bulkier baits and rattles. With the dirty water look for bass to be hugging the cover.
