Bass Fishing Training Program

Featured Replies

I find that bass fishing over a three day tournament plus the presiding pre-fish can be very demanding physically. How many out there have a specialized training program that you participate in prior to the season? For those that do let's hear about it.

in the early spring i go to my local pool and swim and run in the pool, its fun and you get an excersize

i play soccer year round so that helps my cardio.... and i have started lifting weights specifically concentrating on my arms, back and wrists.... go to any local fitness store and they can help you

I am going to join a local gym and start swimming and weight lifting to get ready for the season.  I also want to lose about 20 pounds.  My doctor says by doing this I can help avoid the back pain that occurs during the first two to four hours on the water. :)

Eat right and get good sleep before each event. Hydration also is key.
