Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried or done this...a couple of summers ago i was just messing around..i wanted to try sumthing different its not really a common way to catch bass but it worked for me..I trolled a crankbait over many area i thought held bass and I Caught some pretty nice sized bass just wondering if anyone has ever tried it and if they've been sucessful? ???

You bet!!! I do this for my daughter quite a bit. Except I use a hotspot or rattletrap and vary my speed as to how deep the fish are hanging in the channels.Very productive way of catching white bass in the spring before there spawning run on big lakes.

Growing up, we trolled alot for sand bass and hybrids.  Recently, I've used this technique (using Lil Fishies) in the jonboat and trollng motor to catch crappie in the open water of the small lake we go to.  If we troll around the edges, we'll always pick up some bass.  My daughter picked up one this way on Saturday, while we motored back to the truck.
