Pulling 5th wheel and bass boat at same time

Featured Replies

I have a 27 foot 5th wheel trailer and a 17' 9 bass boat.  I have measured my truck, 5th wheel, and bass boat and it looks like together they are going to run around 70 feet.  I see people pull this set up all the time all around the states.  Is this legal?  Has anyone pulled their 5th wheel and bass boat and what if any trouble did you have with the law or any other things?

Thanks for the help.

Man, I'd be checking ouy DMV and get some practice.  Make sure you don't have to back up anywhere....

Alot of my buddies fishing the tour events have gone to slide-in campers because they were getting pulled over alot. Especially in Florida! Some even had to drop their boat and take the 5th wheel to the state line and then turn around and go back and pick up the boats... The Florida Hwy Patrol would not let them continue with both. Just thought I would share the info!
