Where's the Bass

Featured Replies

I never see Oregon as a great place to fish bass. Why is that? I live Near a small town pond, good size one too!! Not to deep about 6 foot at deepest point. Wood at almost every turn gives ample spots to hit. But people love them trout. Not one person is rigged for bass, that I see. Even in the Fishing News it's all salmon or steelhead nothing more. Should I move or what??

I lived in Grants Pass, OR for a little wile back in 95 and had a great day on a private pond. I caught about 20 bass then after lunch hiked down the hill to a creek and started catching trout. It was a very memorable fishing trip.
