electric motor or gas

Recommended Posts

In my lake which is a decent size only has electric motors which is good and bad... Not as much people on the water but gas would be so easy.  Theres lakes around me that have gas and they're smaller, whats with that. I guess its because they want to keep the water clean but i dont know.  Then i dont have to worry about the battery just bring extra gas.. i wish i could get it changed.

So whats better in your opinion? Gas motor lakes or electric?

It sure would be quite out there.  I guess it depends on how many acres the lake is.  I don't know of any around here that are electric only, they just post them not over 5, 10hp. or speed limits not to exceed 5mph.  I was looking around at electric motors a while back and there are some pretty nice ones out there.  But the cost and haveing to mess with batteries isn't a pleasant thought.
