I have a freshly dug pond of about 2 - 2 1/2 acres in central Texas. I would like to stock it with bass. Does anyone know what the best feeder fish will be and how long before stocking do the feeder fish need to be put in?

fletchlu, you may want to contact your state's department of game and inland fisheries.  they should be able to tell you what to stock and when and how you should go about doing it all and maybe even companies where to buy the fish.

in VA they have all that info and more on their website, so TX should, i would think.
