Silly question, do bass eat other bass and walleye? Reason I ask is I was looking over lure/baits this year and saw a couple nice bass and walleye patterns and wondering if they would produce or use them in my muskie arsenal?

yes yes yes. bass will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. which happens to be everything besides a horse, which they might beable to get down.......if you chop it in half first lmao seriously though they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths even other bass

I have to agree...have you ever seen "Bigmouth" that old bass fishing video with the porn music behind it?  There is a LMB that had half of a duck in it's mouth and the thing was flapping it's feet on the bass' face trying to escape.  If my memory serves, it did get away, but it was still really cool to see.

Yup, a bass can eat pretty much any fish it lives with up to 1/3rd it's own size.  In other words, a 9lb bass can easily suck down a 2 lb trout.

Yup, its true, bass are canibals!  I have found that a "Baby Bass" colored/shaped lure can be deadly a few weeks after spawn is over...I'm sure a walleye lure would be just as effective.

Years ago when I first bought an aquarium I asked about what fish species eat other fish. The answer I got was that any fish will eat any fish it can get in its mouth.

Yep, I caught 2 bass and had 2 others on Matt's baby bass swimbaits which are as close to life like as you will ever see.

They eat everything. In Korea they hate them as they are such predators they will eat the good fish--the carp.

Baby bass colored grubs are great baits after the spawn.

I've seen that in person (bass eating a duckling for real and the video). Pretty cool.

BASS ARE CRAZY! during the spawning season for walleyes, walleye patterned Shad Raps KILL!

I've had great luck catching bass and big bream on my Baby Bass Pop-R, worked right along a weedline.  You could probably T-rig an old gym sock and catch a bucketmouth with the right presentation.   ;D

;)  You know, my cousin was skinny dipping and a bass grabbed his most embarrassing protrubence.

If a bass would chomp on that, it will bite anything!

Who else besides me remembers the bass lure that was shaped like a woman?  She looked like a

small-sized Barbie with treble hooks.   It was sort of a gag, but some anglers swore by it.

Look through one of Heddon's antique lure catalogs.  Holy Cow!  There has been no limit on our

     anglers' imaginations.

     I did see a bass swallow a cow once.  But I wasn't impressed--it was just a heifer.
