ive been hearing so much about chatterbaits that i have to get one.  Does anyone know where i can get one like a website or something?

i ordered some from www.chatterbait.com but there is a lead time on them of about 4-6 weeks. you can also get some on ebay, but they cost more on there. great lure if you can get one.

Some major retailers are begining to carry them. I just picked up two at a Dick's Sporting Goods where I live so check your local big box stores and possibly your Mom and Pops and see if anyone has them.

Although highly over priced if you really really want one try going on ebay. Also one of the guys on here was selling his own version through his company. I think the link was in the tackle making section.

Dicks Sporting Goods is starting to carry them but you almost need to be there when the unload the truck.  I talked to a salesperson today and they had to put a 10 lure limit on them because guys were coming in buying 20-30 of them at a shot and selling them on EBAY for $20-$30 each.

my academy is carrying the gambler swim blade chatterbaits.  they only had 2 colors, black/blue, and gold bluegill.  the only thing is they were kind of hidden.  i wouldn't even have known they had them if i hadn't heard a guy talking on the phone telling someone else they had them.  they were on the bottom row by all the crappie jigs....i don't have a clue why, but that's where they were.

and they don't come in a very attractive package, no colors or big words, they were just in a small plastic package, w/ a sticker on them.

I just ordered some off of another site.com.  it said the order would take 7-10 days due to high demand of the product.

we'll see how long it takes to get here.

it usually take about 2-3 days to ship to my house when I order from them.

I finally cancelled my order that I placed on Feb 6th!  I bought 3 on ebay last night for just under $30 with shipping and all.  Didn't think that was too bad.

I don't know where you live but Dick's has them and Pembroke Fishing Center in Edenton, NC has got them.  Love the bait and they really catch fish, all kinds of fish.  I think they will even work on the rock in the Albermarle Sound. 8-)

I'm seeing them at my local Dick's Sporting Goods.

I also heard that they will be in Wal-Marts any day now.
