Just a Question or two....

Featured Replies

For A project in school, I am required to make a presentation on a career. I believe that I am going to do fishing. Is there anyone out there that would like to contribute to my data. Any in fo on where you fish, and what would be great. Also, your biigest fish and greatest experience fishing. Thanks

If I may ask, why would info on where you fish, biggest fish, greatest experience, have to do with a presentation on fishing CAREER?

Just an opinion, I would be gathering data from people who have made fishing a career such as guides, retailers, store/business owners, lodge owners, touring professionals etc...

We have a great representation here from all aspects of the industry. If you could be more specific as to your topic (exactly) then I can point you to some people to speak with.

we have:

Guides

Mates

Lure builders

plastic pourers

reps

pros (from Yamamoto pro team)

retailers

we also have fishing journalists.

And my personal favorite

"Bass Bum".  I don't suggest you include this one in your report.

Try to find Mike Iaconneli's book, Fishing on the Edge, as he tells about rising to the top of the sport and about the sport itself.

It is an easy read.

Maybe you can find some Cliff Notes on the book, too.
