Walmart has some nice cheap polarized glasses.    Me and expensive sun glasses don't get along.   Lost over the side, scratched, or they become everyday wear, and that makes for short life also.

I also use some cheapos. they work fine. I have lost revos, oakleys, etc

I discovered these sunglasses ayear or two ago after using about a dozen different high-end polarized sunglasses. They are superb and that's a great price on them. I have a grey and yellow lens model.

High praise indeed:

COLTS Laboratories (an independent testing facility) has certified Kaenon Polarized SR-91 lenses with an optical acuity and clarity rating of "40" - the highest possible score in the stringent ANSI Z.87.1 testing regimen.

I own a pair of Hibdon Series Solar Bats in the grey lens which I bought from Wal-Mart. They cost me around $15. I am happy with them and they didnt cost me a fortune.

I wear a pair of H2Optix, they are owned by bushnell, very high quality sunglasses, everyday pair has lasted me two years only have one scratch, just got my fishing pair, i buy mine at the bushnell outlet store for around $50, but new they are around 75-125 i think, great glasses, made just for fishing

Are the Kaenon lenses glass or plastic....

I have the Fathoms in Blue Mirror and love them. I would not hesitate a second buying another pair.

Are the Kaenon lenses glass or plastic....

They are some type of plastic:

The Kaenon SR-91® lens material in 8.25 base curve for maximum wrap and rake is the foundation for the finest polarized lenses in the world. SR-91 is neither glass, nor polycarbonate, nor CR-39, but a radically new polarized lens material. SR-91 combines the crisp optical acuity of the finest glass lenses, in an ultra light weight.

I have a pair of Costa's, the harpoon model all i have to say are good things.  Its like just about every product produced you get what you pay for.  Spend a little more and get a better quality pair.

I am wearing some Oakleys(model forgotten). They really do a fine job of seeing underwater cover.I've used the $7 Strike King fishing specs and liked them also.
