i recenty triied a c-rig set up with a fat ika hooked reversed (skirt up) and about a 3 foot leader.

i didnt get any bites but i was just wondering if anyone has ever tried this setup?

Yep ....... no takers as of yet.  Not giving up though.

That's a heavy one, sinking too fast, and not my choice for a C-rig since it'll spend it's time hugging bottom and probably out of sight of bass above any bottom cover. If wanting to use a tube bait on a C-rig stuff some styrofoam inside a hollow cavity unless you are crawling it over clean sand or gravel with no vegetation. I used up my Ikas and can't remember whether it's hollow or not, but think it's soild and too dense, landing nose down, skirt up?
