i live in upstate NY where some of the flooding occured...what can i expect about the fishing conditions now after all this rain and flooding???

You can expect muddy water. Try fishing some softplastics that have a lot of appendages to attract bass. A spinnerbait might also work, but make sure you have a colorado blade.

The fish will possibly be scattered the water will be extremely dirty probably so fish will be tight to cover. Try throwing spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, anything that makes noise or sends out a vibration through the water to attract fish. I would add some rattles to your soft plastics. Watch out for floating debris if your in a boat. Good luck to ya. P.S. send some rain down here to Kansas we could use the moisture especially western Kansas.
