Persuader E-chip flipping jig

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried one of these jigs or spinnerbaits yet?  If so. what do you think?

Or is it just a gimmick?

Tackletour wrote a review on them, I'll try to go find it for ya.

I love Persuader jigs and spinnerbaits, but I dont buy into this whole "E chip" thing....

echip seems gimmicky. im not sure. but aside from the echip thing that looks like a quality sb.

They should have have had two people throwing the same color spinnerbait and blade combos, only one with an e-chip. That would have been a better idea to see if that "e-chip" thingy is a gimmck or not.

Now I know how Bill Dance unloaded all those chirp baits he use to endorse.  Big Gimmick, you will feel violated on the inside after you buy it.

Thanks for the review link The_Jake.

In theory I think the product sounds like a great idea, bordering on revolutionary.  And being thet the price isn't astronomically high, it sounds decent.

I seen a show on the discovery channel a while back were they put an electrode into an area with sharks.  When a shark would near the device, someone would trigger it so that it would emit a small electrical impulse.  The sharks went nuts trying to find the creature that emitted the impulse.  It stands to reason that bass being predators could at times feed in the same manner.

Just wondering if anyone has actually used the product and noticed a difference?

mayassa, are the Sound Bites jig and line attachment what you are referring to? Click, click, click--when they get wet.

Yep, they were "revolutionary" "high tech" "calls in the bass from a long way".

The only thing they called in was money from gullible anglers.

My wife bought me a set of those-never used them as they would come apart easily.

I haven't seen any in stores, they must have been banned by state game and fish departments, LOL
