I'd like to encourage everyone to visit

and take the pledge to take someone, at least one person who has never been fishing, fishing next year. Your pledge helps the program.

It is part of the national "Take me fishing" campaign. There are also opportunities to get involved in your respective areas by introducing and teaching our sport to new folks and getting young people back to doing the things they should be, like FISHING!!!

Not to 'toot my own horn,' but for some other ideas on how to get involved, please see my post 'Practicing what we preach' in the 'Everything Else' section of the board.   We all need to get involved in giving something back.
