I guess weather doesn't make a difference....

Featured Replies

On Mar 2, there was a small tournament held out of Paris Landing Marina on Kentucky Lake.  Water was 44 degrees surface.  The wind was hitting 20mph and the old lady was whitecapping pretty good.  One local team weighed in 5 bass weighing 29.75 pounds :o , capped by one 8 pounder.  All fish were over 5 lb.

Neither fisherman is saying one word about spots or lures ::)

I guess any weather is time to hit the water ;)

Thats a good day anytime of the year. Believe it or not in my opinion the colder water was one of the reasons they had a big fish day. Warm water tends to scatter bigger fish. They find their own space. The early season colder water tends to stack them up a little. Anyhoo, a twenty nine pound wt. in a tourney will put a smile on your face on the way to the weigh in. :)
