Help needed

Featured Replies

So I went out today and fished a couple of the local lakes after I got off of work.  We have got a few inches of rain over the last couple of days so the lake levels are up a bit. (even though they are still way down)  At both lakes bait fish were everywhere jumping around and swirling on the surface.  I would assume that would mean they were being chased by something.  Unless bait fish just like to get dry for a moment or two.   ::)  I tried spinner baits of all shapes and sizes, buzz baits, stick baits, rattle traps, and every kind of plastic worm I have.  Nothing I only had one bite and caught that one and only fish.  What gives?  Any Help would be appreciated.

the bait fish are very active here too and ive had success on a mann's baby 1-

I'll have to check into one of those and see what happens.  It's just so frustrating knowing that you are surrounded by fish and you can't get them to bite.
