Where exactly is the "back of the creek"?

I have heard people talking about  fishing the back of the creek while on the lake.

I can only assume that is where the creek comes into the cove. Is that right?

I have wanted to ask but either the conversation changes to other things or I am only in passing and dont want to interupt.

    Yes, the back of the creek is as close to the source as you can get.
