Once the water around here gets below 45 or so, I get out the jigging spoons and put the deep cranks away....and believe me, that is a very tough thing for me to do.

I think that there is no limit to the temps.  I do this because once late November, early December comes the lake is frozen over.  I catch them on deep cranks from 60 to when the water freezes over!
