This Years Fishing Shows

Featured Replies

I don't know if I just discovered these show, but I think this year has a lot of great fishing shows.  There is that always enjoyable "In-Fisherman" and "Linders Fishing Edge", but I saw for the first time this year, Mark Zona's "The Worlds Greatest Fishing Show" (which it may be), Rebel's "People Who Fish", "Simply Fishing" with Bob Mehsikomer, "Hook N' Look" with Kim Stricker (I think there is another thread about this show), "Bass Pro Outdoors" (not to be confused with "The Bass Pros", which is another great show, but they only have reruns on), and the unbelievable Fishing University with Charlie Ingram (actually, this last one is a joke - as is the show.  This last week I happen to catch part of it where he brags about these great rods he put his name on and 12 seconds later he sets the hook on a smallmouth and his reel falls off the reel seat.  Great Rod!).  Were these shows always on and I just missed them or are they all new?  My DVR is loaded after every weekend, which is fine by me, because it helps make this winter go by faster.

Yeah I saw that tarpon fishing show which was pretty cool.  I can't stand Roland Martin, but I'll watch the show.  You just have to know when to fast forward through his sunscreen, sunglass, megastrike, and other product rants.  I love the saltwater shows he does in FL.

And a new Lindner's Angling Edge was on last week - a really cool one about frogging for bass and cranking trees for walleyes.
