The Sebile swimbaits I ordered came today and the hooks on the 5-3/4" Magic Swimmer are tremendous.  Has anybody tried putting smaller hooks on this bait?  It is the fast sinking model and I know if I put a smaller hook it will sink slower, but they just look oversized for the bait.  

I wouldn't change the size hooks on the Magic Swimmer. The lures ability to keep fish on the hook is comparable to the Lipless Crank. It's tough to keep them on the hook as is. If you change to a smaller hook it would be that much harder.

Thanks for the advice.  They are awfully pretty, I hope they will catch fish as good as they catch fishermen.

I caught 20 or 30 on them last year. They work just fine.
