Featured Replies

Hey Folks...

Just came across this site while searching for DVD's from a show called CALSSIC PATTERNS that ran a few years back....

I was wondering if anyone had these DVD's or knew of a store still selling them...I looked online at BPS and didnt see them but hear that the local BPS store have them still...

Anyhelp would be great!!

Some are good and others are not.

Some are TV shows while others are excellent productions.

May I suggest purchasing the Kevin VanDam 3 DVD Set if you do not have it?  They are outstanding.

The 3 DVD Set are a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Video Library series.

You will learn a lot from each production so you can't go wrong it purchasing them.

And they are a great way to pass the time during the winter months.  :)

Have that set...And I agree they are pretty informative!!

Thanks

Ike's Classic Pattern DVD is great as well. lot's of good info on finesse tactics.

I have 4 of them.  Here's what I think:

1) Jason Quinn Summer Patterns - Good

2) Marty Stone - Winter Fishing - Average

3) Gerald Swindle - Spotted Bass and Fall Fishing - Great

4) Joe Thomas - Fishing tough conditions and hot water discharges - Good

I spoke to Jason Quinn at this years classic and he said they may be making some more of these with more specific situations.  I'd love to see one on flipping and pitching with the latest/most modern tackle.

The KVD series is good.  Not great, just good.  His newer stuff on "The Bass Pros" DVD series from Bass Pro Shops is easier to follow and is more informative I think.
